Noci is an unassuming town with a very large heart. Noci takes its names from the walnut groves that stood where the town was first inhabited. It is a pretty town with a well deserving reputation for its meat, and in particular its sausages, but if that was not enough Noci has a fantastic year-long programme of culinary events and festivals. 

 

In July is the Festival of Chicory, September holds two events; The Mushroom Festival and the Rite of Ragu and in November the New Wine and Chestnut Festival. If that was not enough in December it is with delight that many people attend Pettole nelle Gnostre e Cioccolato an extravagant chocolate and wine festival. There is nothing like it for getting into the spirit of Christmas as you walk through the streets of Noci with the scents of wine and hand made chocolate filling the air. All the festivals are held on the streets of Noci and it is a real celebration of good gastronomy and local pride in the produce. During high summer there is also a weekend of food and wine tasting accompanied by music, art and theatre. A culinary feast awaits!
